Welcome to our website!

Tintinhull is a small village filled with charm set in the south of Somerset, approximately 4.5 miles from Yeovil, sited just off the A303. There has been a settlement on this site since the Iron Ages and it is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

The village has a beautiful 13th century church, St Margaret’s of Antioch, once connected to the nearby Montacute Priory; an outstanding country pub, The Crown and Victoria; plus a National Trust site, Tintinhull Gardens, described as a gardener’s garden, beautiful and tranquil.

New Pricing from June 1st

At the last Trustee meeting we reviewed our hall charge structure. We have decided to simplify it somewhat by removing the afternoon and evening booking blocks, as all our hirers have booked our facilities by the hour. This will make the pricing structure simpler as you will just book the appropriate Hall or meeting room with a choice of Villager or Non-Villager rates. Clearly to take advantage of the villager rate, you must be resident in the village.

The meeting room rates have been pegged at last year’s prices, i.e. £7 villager or £10.50 non villager. The Main hall will see a small increase to £9 villager or £13.50 for non-villagers. All these rates are per hour booked, which must include any set up or tear down time.

The new rates will take effect from 1st June 2019 and will be held until 31st December 2020.Any bookings that take place after 1st June 2019 will have to pay the new rates, irrespective of when the booking was actually made.
